Dogs and Tellus

Today I decided to get a custom dog on one of the dog breeding games I play. I have a bunch of rare items that I will probably decide to sell in exchange for the kind of money that usually has to be bought with real money. Then I will buy a "token". Then I will trade the token for a custom dog. The problem is that I don't know what kind of dog to design! I might do one that looks like someone sprinkled snow all over it's back. I don't know what color to put under the snow though. I am planning on making two of them and selling puppies to get money. Then I can get more customs with the money. Tomorrow is Wednesday. Granmo hurt her knee and she is having surgery tomorrow. Mom has to be there to drive her home, and so Dad took the day off from work. Me and Holden and Dad are going to Tellus tomorrow. It will be awesome. We will be able to dig in fake cat litter, pull gemstones out of water and sand and take the gems home, and we might even see a movie in the planetarium. Yay! I also figured out how to do this to the text :D

Hilarious Kittens!

Today Mom showed me this. (LINK)
There was a mutation in a litter of kittens that made the kittens do something really funny. They lose all their fur and then grow it back. After a few hours in the light, the kittens get black spots on them. In a few weeks they can turn all black! But if you get them out of the light, they turn pink again. The kittens think that it's completely normal and don't mind changing color. They are so funny and cute!
Here is a link to stuff about them.

Happy Caturday!

On Saturday, I never write posts, so the Caturday post is coming early:
Mom took this picture of Roxy one year at Christmas.

Trips to the hospital are lots of fun

A few months ago, I went to the hospital. It was fun. Here is the story:

One day, it was about 5:00. I was in the kitchen, when my belly started to hurt. I thought that taking a warm shower would make it feel better, but it got worse. So I wrapped myself in a towel and went to the living room, where Mom was talking with Granmo. I started crying and told Mom that it hurt, so she had me lay down on the sofa. I was given clothes to put on, but I ignored them. Holden was a sweetie. He handed me a toy and told me to play with it. Mom gave me a cup of water full of charcoal. I drank it and kept crying and laying on the sofa wearing nothing but a towel and complaining that it hurt. Mom told me that Dad would take me to urgent care when he got home because she thought that I might have appendicitis (not sure if I spelled that right). Dad got home. He said hi to Holden and then told me to put on clothes. I did, even though it hurt to move around. I put on my shoes and got in the car with Dad. After a long time of pain, complaints, and driving, we got to urgent care. Dad carried me inside because I did not want to walk because my stomach hurt. Dad put me down next to a bed-chair. I then puked on the chair. It was black. The people changed the sheets on the bed-chair while Dad explained the charcoal water to them. They put me on the bed and talked with Dad. I screamed my fool head off. I can't remember, but I think that was when they poked stuff into me. They pricked my finger and put a band aid on it. They also put something into my arm. They attached an IV to it and dripped water with some medicine (morphine?) into my arm. I got louder and continued to screech. The people gave me a teddy bear and lifted up the sheet with me on it. For one second I changed the screeching into a noise that meant I thought it was fun. Then they put the sheet on a stretcher and I started yelling again. They wheeled me next to an ambulance and lifted me up. It hurt. The people tried to have a conversation with me, but I was not interested. By then I was yelling "TAKE ME HOME! IT HURTS!" but nobody did that. They gave me a wet towel and let me put it over my belly. That felt good, so every few seconds I would stop crying. Then we got to Scottish Rite, a children's hospital. I was brought inside and the ambulance was driven away. I kept yelling because I no longer had the wet towel. Somebody put my IV bag on a thing, and I got a new wet towel. I also got heated blankets and a few things attached. A person put 3 "stickers" with wires on them onto me. Somebody also put a band aid with a wire on it onto my thumb. I got a thing keeping me from bending the arm with the IV on it. It was way past my bedtime. Later, someone told me and Dad that they wanted a urine sample (a cup of pee) from me. They told Dad that if I couldn't go to the bathroom and use a cup, I would get a catheter. Me and Dad both opted to have me use a cup. The pee got all over Dad's hand and he made a joke about it. I laughed, and I realized that it did not hurt. I went back to bed. I had to do a CAT scan. Someone told Dad to watch a video about medicine. Then they put the medicine into my IV. I was put on a bed thing and strapped down. There was a bunch of colored lights in the shape of stars and stuff for me to look at. It was pretty. Somebody told me about the cool machine and how I needed to hold my breath when it told me to. They turned on the machine. My bed was moved under the scan thing. "hold your breath." it said. I did. It X-rayed me and rolled my bed out of it. This repeated once, and then I got off the bed. The people put me into a fun wheelchair even though I did not need it. I needed to change the part of my IV that was in my arm. I was all doped up on morphine, so I was amused by the fact that the people made my blankets into a bloody mess while changing my IV.  I required new blankets, and they warm up all blankets before the give them to me. Somebody told Dad that we could have some food, so Dad left to get some dinner. It was about 1:00 in the morning. Dad came back with a bag of chips and an oreo ice cream! I had that, and then I watched TV. There was nothing on that I wanted to watch. Dad went to bed on the sofa, and I pressed a button to make my bed lay down. It had been in a chair position. I got a large adjustable bed and Dad slept on a couch. I went to bed full of ice cream. The next day, Dad got me some fresh pancakes and a bunch of syrup. I ate it and watched TV. There was an episode of a show I like, so I watched it. I got to take a shower there too. I got free shampoo and I enjoyed it a lot. Later, me and Dad  went to the playroom. There was not much to do, but I enjoyed jumping around. We also played video games and went on a playground. First, we found out that I did not need to have surgery. When Mom came to get us, we went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch. I had a big fat pile of ice cream covered in toppings for lunch. Then we went home. Holden was very happy that I was home. He stole my teddy bear and ran around. Granmo gave me a hug and everyone talked with me. It was a lot of fun :)

Halloween was awesome!

On Halloween, I had fun. I dressed up as a winged cat and we took Holden trick-or-treating. He was Batman. First, we went to the haunted house. We went through and nobody chased me. I went to the end of the haunted house and started petting the dog sitting there. That was the most patient dog I have ever seen.  The dog just sat there and let me pet him instead of jumping on me and licking us in the face. The only thing that could pull me away from the puppy was the fact that I was about to get 3 large tootsie roll pops. Then we went trick or treating. We walked to a bunch of houses and got a large haul of candy. At one house, I got skittles and something else I can't remember what it is, and Holden grabbed candy and a bag of pretzels. At another house, I reached for one tootsie roll and the person there picked all the tootsie rolls out of the bowl and put them into my bucket.  After we did all the houses that were participating, we went home and I dumped all my candy onto the table. I got a packet of spree candies, some skittles, some chocolates, some laffy taffy, and a bunch of tootsie rolls. We looked at the packet of pretzels that Holden got, and the pretzels were allergy safe. Then we traded out all his candy for the nut free candy that Mom bought for him. Holden grabbed a lolly pop and ate it while Dad stole some of his Peanot candies. Peanot is a candy that tastes like peanut but is safe for Holden. I ate tootsie rolls and laffy taffy until Holden went to bed. Then Dad let me go into the haunted house alone. Nobody jumped out at me, so I was underwhelmed, but they handed me 2 bits of chocolate even though I had already been there. The dog had gone inside. I walked out of the haunted house with a mouthful of caramel chocolate. Dad wanted some, so I handed him the wrapper as a joke.

Unlike what I thought I would have to do, which is lock myself in the closet if I wanted to eat my candy, Holden is delighted with his lollipops and does not mind me eating candy that he can't have right next to him as long as he has some of his candy.  Plus, Mom and Dad are letting me keep my candy in my room this year!

Halloween is taking forever to get here

Halloween is taking way too long to get here. This Halloween I will be a black kitten. Just like last year. And the year before that. Pretty much every year. Next year I want to be a cheetah.

These pictures are from 2011. I am a cat every year. MEOW.

I can't wait to go trick or treating this year! The one thing I am not looking forward to is Holden's allergies preventing me from eating candy without locking myself up in Mom's closet first. Mom did find some safe candy corn, plus this candy called Autumn Mix. Autumn Mix is candy corn, indian corn (the candy corn with brown instead of yellow), and those pumpkin candies I haven't had in years. Yum.

We live next door to the haunted house that our neighbor builds every year. It is awesome! I can't wait until Halloween. The haunted house is the best part because it is fun. I hope there is a guy in a costume chasing me this year. Last year was only decorations and it was very underwhelming. One year there was a guy chasing people, but I got completely ignored because of a big group of people nearby. If that happens this year, I'm going to go through the haunted house multiple times. Until the person chases me. Because that is a lot of fun!

Today, I also found out that Ikea, a swedish store full of beds and furniture and toys, plus frozen yogurt and hot dogs that Holden can't eat, has a new toy husky puppy( http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10297996/ ). It is the only dog or cat from Ikea that I don't already have. I am going to get it soon, but Ikea stuff is expensive and Mom wants to wait until we have enough money to buy more than just one toy.

So, that is an overview of all the Halloween stuff I felt like typing about! MEOW!

We need to go to Publix...

A few days ago, me and Dad and Holden carved a pumpkin. Dad made a really cool vampire while I washed some pumpkin seeds. Dad did all of it while I sat on the floor upset about not being allowed to carve it.
The day before that we went shopping. We got a pumpkin and some food and the Walmart people refused to trade paper money for some quarters so we couldn't buy a vending machine toy. I wish they hadn't removed the sticky toy machine. I think there's a sticky toy machine at Publix. And that is good, because I like to stick toys to the ceiling :D

the Roly Poly From a Few Weeks Ago

A few weeks ago, me and Holden went outside to catch a praying mantis. It turns out that praying mantises are impossible to find. So I asked Mom what other bugs we could catch, and she suggested roly polies. So I walked about 2 yards away and quickly located one. I used a shovel to pick it up and it rolled into a ball. Then I dropped it right into the bug jar. A few minutes later it unrolled. It was on it's back and took a few minutes to get up. Then it ran around. Holden decided it was a boy (because toddlers control the gender of all bugs) and the roly poly got the jar moved a little and got on his back and took a minute to get up again. We stuck it on the table and gave it grape to crawl on. Then we moved it to the window sill where Roxy (the cat) stuck her head under the jar and knocked it over. The roly poly rolled up into a ball again. Holden saw a spider and Mom had to come kill it. A few hours later we went to bed. In the middle of the night the roly poly died. In the morning Holden insisted that the ball of ick sitting in the jar was 'taking a nap' and not dead and so I couldn't throw away the dead ickball without a tantrum. A few days later we 'released' the 'sleeping' roly poly.

                                                                  Such a cutie.

Birthday Party

Yesterday was my birthday. I got a boom box with radio, cassette, and CD stuff. After lunch we went downstairs to visit Granmo and get more presents. I got some nail polish and barrettes. I was a little annoyed that I didn't get any toys, but that's ok. Holden got a board book about Superman so he wouldn't get upset about all the gifts being for me. Holden quickly discarded the book in favor of a mug full of cake. I also found the only fun virtual dog breeding game in the world that I didn't already have an account on. So I played iPad on Granmo's bed until Dad got home from work.

Also, a note on the story about me eating tomatoes and Mom giving me candy from the last post: later she handed over the entire bag of candy so me and Holden could get it out of the house by eating it :D

:D

Hi! I have not posted in a while, so this might be long...

Yesterday I had my birthday party. I got 2 things. I got a plush border collie and a webkinz cat named Shimmer. The cake was delightful. The day before yesterday, me and Mom went to Walmart to pick out allergy-safe cake stuff (Holden is allergic to nuts, peanuts, milk, and shellfish). I chose chocolate cake and white frosting. Then we selected a candle that looked like a number 10 (That's the number I'm turning) and Happy Birthday letter candles. Then we chose 2 packets of safe candy to put on. I love my new stuffed animals from my party! Border collies are my favorite dog breed :)

This morning I wanted sugar. So, I remembered the leftover birthday candy and went to Mom. I offered to eat 5 grape tomatoes if she gave me some candy and it worked :D So I went to the sofa and ate 7 small bits of candy (aka flavored sugar) while watching Wordgirl on TV.

I spent a lot of this morning on Webkinz (A virtual site where you use a code on a stuffed animal to play with it online). I registered Shimmer (the cat I got yesterday) on Webkinz and spent the next 45 minutes playing. Then I played Furry Paws (a virtual dog breeding game) and played the halloween event for a while.

And that is the most exiting stuff that happened this week!
